AGM at Blackbutt 180915

There were 2 main groups heading to our AGM in Blackbutt. Pyro lead a ride from the North side meeting point at Carsledine with Mac, Hippy and Phoenix as TEC. The second group started at Mt Glorious. Starters were Jak & Hoffy. At Esk Drastic, Suzi Q, Boots, Benelli, Ynot, Winnie, Worker, Scouse and visitor Aiden joined Jak & Hoffy. Ned and I traveled by car. We met up with the remaining members, Rusty, Sam, Disco, Chantoozy, Lucky J & Yogi at Hotel Radnor. A great turnout by the club with 22 members attending (17 club bikes, 1 visitor bike & 2 cars)
A few bevvies were enjoyed in the bar before our AGM kicked off at 5pm. Newly elected officials were Jak as president, Phoenix as secretary. Ynot remained treasurer, Yogi remained riders delegate and Mac was nominated as the new ride co-ordinator.
We welcomed our 2 newest members Chantoozy and Disco to the club where they were presented with their club patches. Welcome aboard guys to the Steel Horse family :)
There were 2 raffles for the evening. Winnie donated prize 1 which was won by Hoffy . Hoffy donated prize 2 which was won by Disco.
Hippy made up club key rings for all the members and handed them out at the end of the meeting. You did an awesome job Hippy, they looked fantastic :)
Hotel Radnor kitchen catered a yummy din dins with desert around 6.15pm after our AGM, which was kindly paid for by the club. We enjoyed the evening's entertainment in the bar with singer Nat Fenton. Nat sang up a storm until just after midnight. A fantastic evening was enjoyed by all.
Hotel Randor Kitchen put on a fab Bacon and Egg brekkie in the morning for those of us who stayed at the hotel. After brekkie group photos were taken outside the hotel. After photos we all said our goodbyes to the group with everyone making their own way home. A slight hic-cup for Benelli just after Esk had his beloved Harley popped onto a transporter for the rest of it's journey home.
Hippy, Ned and I did a detour to Sam & Rusty's place to drop off some goodies they picked up at the Blackbutt markets. I dropped Ned back home and Hippy and I got home around 3pm.
A fantastic weekend away with great peeps. Thanks to Pyro for organising and leading the North run. Thanks to Phoenix for organising the accommodation and club dinner. Thanks to everyone from the club who were able to come along. Looking forward to another great year with the club.
Cheers Roach & Hippy
